Review: 'Tuca Tuca' by Gorilla Perfumers at Lush Handmade Cosmetics

I want to introduce to you Tuca Tuca (£23.00 for 30g bottle / £11.00 for 10g bottle) ... a fun and flirtatious fine fragrance from the new concept that is the Gorilla Perfumers.

The critically acclaimed and 5 star
Gorilla Perfumers are taking over Lush Fresh Handmade cosmetics this summer with their new collection of fine fragrances – to be released soon. The pre-release from this collection is Tuca Tuca and it’s sure to be the summer number one!

It’s that fun and flirtatious girl inside us all - she’s mischievous with a naughty sense of humour and an infectious giggle. She likes to dance like no-one’s watching and run through park sprinklers with abandonment, just because she can. She’s whimsical, carefree and when the sun shines just right she can go from being sweet to sensual with the bat of an eyelash.
Tuca Tuca is the epitome of how fast your heart races when your eyes meet the boy you’ve got a crush on!

Like any good summer day,
Tuca Tuca starts with a blast of fresh summer air, violet top notes accompany a rich floral feel from cassie absolute. As the sun reaches midday the warm vanilla and ylang ylang move the perfume into its middle notes and then, as the sun sets, we’re left with a slightly naughty violet leaf and vetivert bottom, the end to a perfect day!

There will also be a
Tuca Tuca massage bar (£5.00) available in the range. The fun and flirty fragrance is blended with cocoa butter and shea butter for those sensual, massage moments!

The launch also coincides with a single release of our very own cover version of Raffaella Carra’s ‘Tuca Tuca’. This fabulously catchy Italian song and dance inspired the fragrance, so we wanted to pay our own homage. Vocals are by the delectable Mira Manga, of festival favourites ‘The Duloks’, and music by English folk band ‘The Nightjar Fledglings, including musicians Simon Emmerson, Richard Evans and Liza Carthy. It’s one of those catchy tunes that will be stuck in your head forever! See MP3 file attached.

And look out for flash mobs of TUCA TUCA dancers happening in a street, train station, bus stop or any other unusual location near you!!
